The basic package for a delegate of Travelling Workshops doesn’t include accommodation. So you have two options for booking accommodation:
Order an accommodation through us
Include "Accommodation" option and choose desired "Room type" while booking your workshop with us. Once we receive your booking request and deposit, will will book appropriative hotel for you.
Book accommodation on your own
There is a great variety of accommodation offered in Saint-Petersburg.
However it is important (especially with small hotels) to ensure that the place where you will be staying is allowed to register foreign tourists (read more in section Entry visa to Russia).
Here is the list of the hotels which we recommend as reliable and those that register visas for foreign visitors.
Typically the hotels will require prepayment for your stay. Depending on a hotel, it can take one of three common forms:
a total price of your stay 5 days in advance
20% of a total price 7 days in advance
price of one night 7 days in advance
Usually you can pay with a credit card, money transfer or special payment systems like Western Union.
Most of hotels and hotel-booking agencies provide Tourist Invitation support for their guests for free or cheaper than we can offer. Please don't hesitate to use their services, as it is actually better when a tourist gets an invitation and registration at the same place. Summer is a high season in Saint-Petersburg and most of hotels are pretty packed, so please, make sure you do your booking in advance!
